Brent, born in Auckland, New Zealand, and now residing and working in Sydney, Australia, has a diverse background that has contributed to his unique approach to Art and Photography. While he is primarily an artist who specializes in photography and graphics, his journey through the architecture industry for a decade has influenced his focus on urban art.
Brent's career took an interesting turn when he established a successful business as a freelance photographer. His expertise and skills in photography led him to a distinctive role as the first in-house photographer at Qantas Airways, where he has remained for the past 11 years, demonstrating his dedication and skill in the field of photography.
However, Brent's true passion has always been pattern work. He finds inspiration in patterns in nature, patterns in architecture, and the patterns that make up our daily lives. His work often reflects this love, and it's a central theme that weaves through his artistic creations. This focus on patterns can lend a unique and consistent style to his body of work.
